This batch file is meant as an alternative to the Setup program provided with Professional Toolkit and should work around most limitations and problems experienced with it. Before you run TKSetup, please read the README.TXT file on the enclosed disk for important information about running this setup program. The most important things to know are: 1. You must run TKSetup from the MS-DOS environment and not, for example, from a Windows shell to MS-DOS. 2. The syntax for TKSetup is: tksetup [] [] For example, if you wanted to install Professional Toolkit in C:\VBPLUS from a 3.5-inch disk, type the following at the command prompt: tksetup c:\vbplus 3.5 3. You must run TKSetup from the disk drive in which you inserted the enclosed BV0555 disk. For example, if you inserted the BV0555 disk in drive B, type the following at the b:\> command prompt: tksetup c:\vbplus 3.5 Do not, for example, use the following command: c:\>b:\tksetup c:\vbplus 3.5 Using TKSetup ------------- 1. Insert the enclosed BV0555 disk in the appropriate floppy disk drive. 2. At the command prompt, type the following commands and press ENTER after each line: b: tksetup [] [] NOTE: If you use a drive other than B, substitute the appropriate drive letter for b: in the line above. TKSetup will then do the following: - Confirm your destination path and disk media size - Create the necessary directories in the destination path - Prompt you to insert each of the required Professional Toolkit disks, starting with Disk 1
